Elaboración del plan de contingencias para el transporte de residuos peligrosos en la Ciudad de Bogotá y alrededores

Abstract

Throughout the development of the internship at GREENSERVICES S.A.S in compliance with the Agreement 038 of the Universidad Distrital Francisco Jose de Caldas, the Contingency Plan for the Transportation of Hazardous Waste in the city of Bogota and Surrounding Areas was prepared. The Plan reflects the corporate, environmental and risk management responsibility of the Organization, in which strategic, operational and informative plans were formulated to deal with emergency situations, especially spills that could impact areas of social and environmental importance, in order to generate procedures and mechanisms that allow the Organization to prevent, mitigate and correct impact caused by the materialization of anthropic and non-anthropic threats in the provision of hazardous waste transportation services. The Contingency Plan (PDC) was structured based on Resolution 1209 of 2018 issued by the Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development in compliance with article 2.2.3.3.4.14 of Decree 1076 of 2015, said Resolution sets the Unique Terms of Reference for the elaboration of PDC which includes route mapping, threat identification, identification of vulnerable elements, risk analysis, elaboration of procedures, identification of support entities, elaboration of budgets and validation of the Plan. In this report, the most important points of the PDC prepared based on the proposed methodological scheme and consistent with the execution of the internship, followed by the conclusions of the work carried out in the Organization and some recommendations for the parts involved.
