Este trabajo forma parte de la revisión de los antecedentes y parte de la construcción del marco conceptual de la tesis doctoral titulada “Las prácticas docentes de los profesores de estadística y probabilidad en las facultades de ingeniería”, se presenta desde la perspectiva de la cultura estadística como elemento importante cuando los ciudadanos tienen que tomar decisiones en situaciones de incertidumbre.
This paper is both a review of the background and part of the framework for the thesis: “Classroom practices of the Statistics teachers of the college of engineering faculty” It’s perspective shows statistics as a key element in decision making, when humans face uncertain situations.
