The project to create the "Discover Bogotá" application was developed with the aim of offering a comprehensive solution for residents and tourists interested in exploring the city's diverse attractions. During the process, needs of the tourism market in Bogotá were identified, such as the lack of updated and centralized information on lesser-known plans and destinations. Based on this diagnosis, an application was designed and structured that integrated advanced search functionalities, personalized recommendations and geolocation, allowing a more complete and accessible experience for users. The development of the project included several key stages. First, a market analysis was carried out, using surveys and interviews to segment potential users. The results showed a target audience composed mainly of adults between 18 and 45 years old, with interests in cultural, gastronomic and alternative experiences. The competition was also analyzed, identifying opportunities to differentiate the application through a focus on emerging destinations and direct connection with local businesses. The business model was then defined, which included income from affiliations with strategic partners, premium subscriptions and the sale of advertising space. In technical terms, the application was designed with a focus on usability and interactivity, and it is also intended to establish strategic alliances with small and medium-sized local businesses, strengthening the content offering and generating value for both users and business partners. The projected financial results showed a positive return on investment, identifying exponential growth in the second and third years, which confirms the economic viability and sustainability potential of the project. In terms of impact, "Discover Bogotá" manages to promote the decentralization of tourism, supporting the local economy and promoting responsible and sustainable practices. The application is consolidated as a key tool to transform the tourist experience in Bogotá, facilitating access to unique plans and contributing to the cultural, social and environmental development of the city.
