The image contains news about agreement number 19 of 1892, by which a contract with the Lighting Company using gas is approved. This agreement grants the company the exclusive privilege for 30 years to manufacture, use and sell gas for lighting and fuel in the city of Bogotá and its surroundings. It is clarified that this privilege does not prevent the use of other lighting or fuel methods, but rather refers specifically to the gas manufactured by said company. In addition, it is established that the company, because it is of public utility, can request the expropriation of land, buildings and objects necessary in accordance with the laws to place pipes in streets, squares and other public roads. In summary, this agreement seeks to promote the development of gas infrastructure in the city and guarantee the supply of this service to the population for a certain period of time. La imagen contiene una noticia sobre el acuerdo número 19 de 1892, por el cual se aprueba un contrato con la Compañía de Alumbrado por medio del gas. Este acuerdo concede a la compañía el privilegio exclusivo durante 30 años para fabricar, usar y vender gas para el alumbrado y como combustible en la ciudad de Bogotá y sus alrededores. Se aclara que este privilegio no impide el uso de otros métodos de alumbrado o combustible, sino que se refiere específicamente al gas que fabrique dicha compañía. Además, se establece que la compañía, por ser de utilidad pública, puede solicitar la expropiación de terrenos, edificios y objetos necesarios conforme a las leyes para colocar las tuberías en las calles, plazas y demás vías públicas. En resumen, este acuerdo busca fomentar el desarrollo de la infraestructura de gas en la ciudad y garantizar el suministro de este servicio a la población durante un periodo de tiempo determinado.
