Resumen
At present the interest arises from the study of the synthesis of biomaterials; Especially synthetic hydroxylapatite (HAp), due to its compositional similarity to the mineral component of bone, being of great importance due to its applications. According to the above, this document will account for the synthesis of Hydroxyapatite (HAp) and Silica-doped Hydroxyapatite (Si-HAp), through the use of different precursors. The synthesis is proposed according to a series of combinations with the precursors of Calcium, Phosphorus and Silicon, by Sol-Gel. For the characterization of the obtained powders, it was used as reference sample, HAp obtained from the calcination of Bovine bone; The techniques of characterization were Infrared Spectroscopy with Fourier Transform (FTIR), Raman Spectroscopy and UV-VIS Spectrometry to determine the stoichiometric ratio [Ca / P]; The results obtained for each of the samples were related and compared; These analyzes account for the production of different Calcium Phosphates with possible substitution of Silicon. It is expected that the development of this work will contribute to the improvement of conditions for the synthesis of hydroxyapatite and hydroxyapatite doped with silicon by the Sol-Gel method wet, taking into account that this material is used as a bone substitute, among others.
