Construction materials, both quarry and river bed drag, play a very important role in the construction industry in Colombia as they are raw material in the production of mortars and concretes, bases, sub bases, fillings in all roads. traffic levels, as well as aggregates for asphalt and in general in all types of civil works. The review by the Controller of the Sub-Bases and Granular Bases, which are part of the pavements and other types of structures such as basements, foundations, fillings, etc. It is made up of stone materials with a specific gradation and in turn mechanical, physical and chemical properties that are conditioned by the INVIAS and IDU standards. Using materials that do not have the same mechanical and physical properties as virgin natural aggregates, but that when mixed in certain percentages that improve their properties, provide a behavior very similar to that obtained with a granular base or sub base, these methods are used They thus make it a fairly effective alternative method. Depending on the use of the different materials in the road infrastructure, the granular bases must comply with the Quality Control Standards for road construction materials, given by the National Institute of Roads (INVIAS), and the Development Institute. Urban (IDU). By means of this application monograph proposal, we seek to venture into a new field such as the use of numerical methods to find a combination of aggregates that meet the requirements of the INVIAS and IDU standards, this due to the power of calculation. of current computing.
