Abstract

The image contains news about the Governor of the State, who in his message to the Deputies, presents the contract for the construction of a railway or road from Magdalena to Bogotá and from Bogotá to the limit of the States of Cundinamarca and Boyacá . This contract is concluded between the Secretary of the Treasury and Nicolás Pereira Gamba. The importance of this work for the development of the State is highlighted and the conditions of the contract are detailed, including the waiver of certain rights by Pereira. In addition, clauses are established to guarantee the completion of the work within a reasonable period of time and the possibilities of rescuing the privilege by the Government are mentioned.
