Abstract

Within International Relations, the environment and environmental agreements are very important within international law, which binds all the States that make up the International Community; the developed and developing countries are part of it, so the characteristics and the way of acting within the international system on the environmental issue is important and nowadays most of the developed countries are involved in conflicts that affect their security both societal and environmental, through the cross-border exchange of these substances. Within this research, we intend to analyze how the subject of transboundary transport of hazardous waste in the world has been studied. Likewise, the contributions given by international regulations regarding the transboundary transport of hazardous wastes will be determined. Finally, we can analyze what lessons can be learned by Colombia with respect to international experiences.
