Abstract

The Activity Management System developed for the Culture and Art Area of the Institutional Wellbeing Center at Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas represents a significant advancement in optimizing the administration of cultural events. This system was created with the purpose of centralizing information and facilitating comprehensive tracking of each activity, from its initial registration to its final dissemination, thereby overcoming previous challenges of decentralization and lack of traceability that were experienced with the use of dispersed spreadsheets. One of the system’s main strengths is its ability to store and comprehensively manage essential evidence such as images, videos, and attendance records, which is crucial for the preparation of detailed and accurate annual reports. This functionality not only enhances internal organization but also increases transparency and accountability within the Culture and Art Area. Furthermore, the system has been designed using technologies that are compatible with the existing systems at the University, ensuring seamless integration and facilitating its adoption by staff. This technological approach ensures that the system is not only efficient but also scalable and sustainable in the long term.
