The image contains a news item in which exposes different chronicles of the city, it presents the installation of the electric telegraph that is celebrated by many and censured by some as inoffensive. It also talks about the mail of the city, explaining that it is better to present the neighborhood, the street and the number of the rooms to make it easier for the letter carriers. La imagen contiene una noticia en la que expone diferentes crónicas de la ciudad, se presenta la instalación del telégrafo eléctrico que es celebrada por muchos y censurado por algunos como inoficioso. También se habla del correo de la ciudad, explicando que es mejor que se presentará el barrio, la calle y el número de las habitaciones para que les sea más fácil a los carteros. Finalmente, se hace un llamado a la policía, ya que algunos individuos están cometiendo fechorías cuando saben que hay mujeres solas en casa.
