La imagen contiene una noticia: "Sobre mejora i fomento de la educación primaria". Trata sobre el método de enseñanza mutua y simultánea, la negligencia en la provisión de los fondos para las escuelas y el impulso que recibirían las escuelas primarias si existiera apoyo y esfuerzo por parte de las juntas curadoras, los hombres del saber, los políticos, las corporaciones provinciales, teniendo en cuenta que lo más importante y digno para el Gobierno es la mejora de los establecimientos de educación primaria, siendo este el principal elemento de prosperidad en la sociedad.
