Abstract

Throughout this project the reader will find a diagnostic analysis that arises from the study of failures presented within the Tintal II yard in the fleet of Volvo and Scania buses, taking as reference research already developed in the field of public transportation, with the the objective is to provide in a detailed and supported manner, based on root cause diagrams, the origins of the failures presented. For this study, the selection of failure study methodology was also carried out based on the characteristics of the organization and its key variables for the operation in order to document the traceability of the analysis and apply a diagnosis that adjusts to the variables involved within of the company. After choosing the methodology that best fits, the reader will find a detailed study of the origins of the selected failures, compilation of information and decision making based on the results of the study, considering in detail each of the possible causes of failure. failure and investigating factors of other natures external to the company that may cause failures. At the end of this project the reader will find an action plan based on the analyzes carried out, based on the selected methodology, they will also find a diagnosis of each selected failure relating its root causes in addition to the documentation of the characteristics of the company.
