Ellos/as y yo: El vínculo con el/la otro/a a través del pas de deux

Abstract

This document is the result of a research, whose root is in the author's own questioning, due to a direct discomfort with the strict guidelines of the pas de deux and its execution, which arises in the first semesters of the undergraduate career Arte Danzario, from the Facultad de Artes- ASAB, of the Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas, regarding its operation, its usefulness and its applicability, in dancing areas outside of classical dance and its original structure, specifically at contemporary dancing creations whereas the duet or partnering acts the protagonist role. All of the above, in a search focused on the construction of a non-tangible bond with the other, or the others, within the choreographic process for a dance piece, through devices and tools provided by the classic duet, whose final objective is the interpretative development for the dancing film UxHumano, directed by Juan José Cárdenas and produced by Ataka Colectivo.
