El Silencio que nos Dio La Voz : Experiencias Significativas De Padres que han Cambiado su Vida al Tener un Hijo con Autismo

Abstract

This research was made in order to collect, identify and recognize real situations, where some Latin American parents have positively changed their lives by sharing experiences with their children with autism. It was necessary to start talking about the condition and its characteristics, as well as the behavior of parents based on their process from diagnosis to behavior improvement, strengthening and individual development. The act of six parents involved in the study shows clearly that there are positive experiences fromautism and that its management depends largely on the acceptance, family unity, the ability to recover from the difficulties and motivation towards better quality of life for their children.
