Resumen
This degree work was carried out under the agreement of National Mobility between the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana (PUJ) and the District University Francisco José de Caldas (UD_FJC); Under the mentorship of Professors Gonzálo Sequeda (PUJ, Department of Chemistry), Alfonso Leyva (PUJ, Department of Physics) and Julian Salamanca (UD_FJC, Curriculum Project Lic. In Physics) and carried out in the framework of the funded research projects By the Vicerrectoría de Investigación of the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana and Banco Santander:
PROTOTYPES OF A SILICON MICRO-SPHERES SCAFFOLD AND SYNTHETIC HYDROXIAPATITA MATRIX FOR BONE REGENERATION IN DENTISTRY - ID 6387 ". (Funded by the Office of the Vice-Chancellor of Research of the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana) DEVELOPMENT OF A MODIFIED SYNTHETIC SYNTHETIC HYDROXYPATITA BIOMATERIAL WITH FIBRIN RICH PLASMA FOR FUTURE PERIODONTAL LIGAMENT REGENERATION - ID 6559 ". (Funded by the Vice-Rector's Office of the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana and Banco Santander)
In the present work different processes of obtaining and characterizing the crystals of Hydroxyapatite (HAp) and of the process of obtaining by means of materials of low cost are realized. Currently, Hydroxyapatite (HAp) is widely used in fields of study such as bioengineering, medicine and dentistry for its biocompatibility, osseointegration and bioactivity properties. For this reason we have developed this research work to observe its functionality and applications in the field of dentistry of hydroxyapatite, the material that is obtained is made its characterization by means of x-ray diffraction.
Key words: Bone, Hydroxyapatite, Calcium, X-Ray Diffraction.
