Resumen
It is interesting to note how the environmental problems raised at a global level have generated great impacts on the deterioration of the different natural resources that surround planet Earth and more so if they are found in settlements of rural populations, as in the case of countries such as Colombia, where the standard of living is increasingly precarious, and thanks to a capitalist system that has become one of the main drivers of this situation. Governments have not yet become aware of the damage that some mining companies have been directing with their indiscriminate selfishness to obtain both economic and political benefits, an aspect that has also been evidenced through the process of closing the Caracolí Mine in the San Jorge village, Township 1 - Soacha and its contribution to sustainable local development. This process has a socio-ecological trait that has generated certain manifestations both for and against by different aspects that should be debated and generate spaces that allow an effective understanding of this phenomenon that affects not only the environment but also the environment in this population, and of course in the region that underlies around it. This problem derived from mining exploitation in this area of the country, has generated an interest by this population in waking up to this situation in order to minimize this phenomenon, and thereby conceive an alternative mechanism to land and improve the living conditions of the inhabitants of this area and reduce their level of vulnerability, with a state intervention that seeks to improve their development styles through the formulation of a series of strategies that allow them to become an increasingly productive community away from environmental deterioration. environmental conditions to which they were exposed in recent years.
