Resumen
The following document contains the description of the preliminary design of a photovoltaic solar system for the Araracuara aeronautical station; As an alternative source of energy generation for aeronautical Navigation Services (c. N) such as communications, navigation and surveillance services. This work will be considered the feasibility of implementing photovoltaic power generation systems, in the stations that provide the provision of services to air Navigation (ANS) and used by the Special Administrative Unit of Civil Aeronautics (UDEAC), which have excellent solar energy potential as an alternative source to be exploited. The project contains information on solar radiation from meteorological stations, provided by the Institute of Hydrology, Meteorology and Environmental Studies of Colombia (IDEAM) in Colombia, as well as the identification of the solar energy resource available in the station's location area; Maps of the solar resource for each one of the services to the navigation; The general identification of the station ARARACUARA in terms of geographical location, infrastructure and current conditions of electrical power, as well as the characterization of the electrical demand of the installed load, and finally the preliminary sizing of an autonomous photovoltaic system for specific loads of the station.
