Abstract

The Gearcomms SAS company is a telecommunications company dedicated to making Up-Link of TV signals, that is, they receive information from different TV channels such as CristoVision and transmit said signal to a satellite. The company in the last two years has faced a change in the physical plant unifying all the channels which are responsible for uploading to satellite in a single main headquarters in order to reduce costs and have a more rigorous control of the signals of TV that it is currently dealing with, due to this the company has perceived an increase in the demand for electrical energy by its teleport since new equipment that requires more energy has had to be installed, in addition to this, growth is expected of the company due to some negotiations for the implementation of new TV channels to transmit in the teleport, for the reasons previously raised it is desired to make an evaluation of your current network in order to determine if an efficient use of energy is being carried out electricity and in the medium term implement a photovoltaic system which can supply part of the electricity demand of the company, for this it is proposed to implement a measurement system that allows to observe a record and keep track of the company's energy demand, a design of what the photovoltaic system to be implemented within the company will also be made.
