The image contains a news report about a decree by Pope Gregory XVI exempting the faithful of the Archbishopric of Bogotá from certain religious obligations, such as attending Mass and abstaining from work, except on key holidays. It also highlights how the Congress of New Granada and the President authorized its implementation. The report further orders parish priests to disseminate it among parishioners and archive it for their reference. It is a significant example of the relationship between Church and State in 19th-century Colombia. This news report was published in BLAA on April 27, 1835.

La imagen contiene una noticia sobre un decreto del Papa Gregorio XVI que exime a los fieles del Arzobispado de Bogotá de algunas obligaciones religiosas, como asistir a misa y abstenerse de trabajar, excepto en días festivos clave. También resalta cómo el Congreso de la Nueva Granada y el Presidente autorizaron su implementación. Además, ordena a los párrocos divulgarlo entre los feligreses y archivarlo para su referencia. Es un ejemplo significativo de la relación entre Iglesia y Estado en el siglo XIX colombiano. Noticia publicada en BLAA el 27 de abril de 1835.
