Resumen
A museographic exhibition of José Niño’s life and work of art, a character made totally by freehand who was forgotten through time and who art history never took into account despite his advances in Colombian Plastic Art environment. With vanguardist pieces like the LP “Master the donkey” from 1972 (Which has strong approximations to sound art and to art movements as Fluxus) He managed to position himself with a ground-breaking and elusive style on the dominant conservative art background of that era. This Discovery would not have been possible if, one afternoon of 2016, I have not found a hardcopy of these LP who not only would open the door to what could be the first sound masterpiece of Colombian Plastic Art, but also would become the possibility to know the artist behind all this. Jose Niño, the artist who, together with their artwork, would be the perfect excuse to understand and know all which means to be an artist, making this Project a kind of step out of the abyss.
