Resumen
The image contains news about the Objected Ordinance Project on Territorial Division. In this project, the Constituent Assembly of the province of Bogotá establishes the municipal administrative division into eighty parish districts and establishes seventeen towns as villages dependent on the aforementioned districts. The boundaries of the districts are specified and eight electoral circuits and five judicial circuits are established for the province. However, this project has been objected to, mainly because some judicial circuits, such as La Palma, are considered unnecessary due to the low population and lack of judicial demand in that area. Furthermore, it is argued that the creation of new judicial employees with limited functions would generate unnecessary expenses in a context of precarious economy. News published in El Repertorio. December 6, 1856.
