The study of stratospheric ozone represents a critical area in atmospheric sciences and climate change research. Understanding the temporal and spatial variations of ozone, as well as its correlation with solar phenomena, requires specialized computational tools capable of processing large volumes of satellite data. This internship was carried out with the support of the Laboratory for Research on Alternative Energy Sources (LIFAE) and the Physics and Informatics Research Group (FISINFOR) at the Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas, under the supervision of Professor Julián Andrés Salamanca Bernal, PhD. The project was framed within research on the relationship between solar activity (measured by the number of sunspots) and total column ozone (TCO) concentrations, using the Colombian equatorial Andean tropical region as a case study. However, the developed software allows for analysis in any geographical location.
