Abstract

This work of investigation departed from the idea of finding a series of events that they were affirming or denying, the phenomenon of the new information technology now as an agent who affects or modifies the ways of being a citizen or of taking part politically. An active citizen that with oce and that can appropriate of his environment thanks to the ways of receiving information and of communicating it publicly. For it, the social networks took as a legitimate space that demonstrates the transformation of the individuals, with regard to the civil participation and his life in general. It splits then of a follow-up or more specifically a study of case, in which there take aleatoriamente of the social network Facebook four persons who will be the base to understand the influence or the way in which these are seen permeados by the new information technology now. Later, there take the records of every individual, by an approximate time of six months and these they are analyzed across a card (field diary) and under the ideas, the budgets or the theory of the qualitative method, which in effect seeks neither consolidate a phenomenon, nor to establish theories, only to understand certain realities in specific contexts, like in this case a population reduced in a space of interaction like it is Facebook, there are established a series of results and conclusions.
