Resumen
Design and chemical synthesis of peptides with conformational constraint is a strategy used to mimic the structure of native proteins fragments. Therefore, this method becomes an important point for understanding the structure-activity relationship in proteins. In databases such as National Center for Biotechnology Information and Protein Information Resource, rice proteins (Oryza sativa) involved in reducing abiotic stress for salinity and dryness of the plant, wese sought. DHOD protein family was selected, specifically the OsDHOD protein which was cloned and expressed in previous works. Peptides with and without conformational restriction were designed and synthesized. Those peptides will be used to elicit anti-peptide antibodies that recognize the native protein.
