Abstract

The image contains news about the message to the Governor of Bogotá about the sale of the prison. In it, Mariano Ospina, as representative of the Executive Branch, communicates to the Governor of Bogotá the resolution adopted regarding the sale of the building that currently functions as a prison in the main square of the capital. The Government Council has reviewed and suspended the decree of the Chamber of the province of Bogotá that authorized said sale, due to a judicial dispute over the ownership of the building and the block on which it is located. It is argued that the building does not clearly belong to the communal or municipal income of Bogotá, but is subject to litigation as to whether it is part of the national income and should be sold to pay consolidated debts.
