[cASABierta 2007, musicales]

Abstract

As part of Casa Abierta 2007, an event organized by the students of the ASAB Faculty of Arts, a diverse repertoire was presented, celebrating cultural richness through various musical expressions. This photographic evidence documents a contemporary and experimental repertoire for saxophone quartet, along with a collection of compositions and arrangements for trombone choir, which explored diverse styles and dynamic textures. Andean string music was also highlighted, with traditional melodies and modern arrangements for regional instruments, as well as pieces for acoustic and electric guitars that fused classical influences with contemporary sounds. In addition, arrangements and details of jazz interpretation, organized for quick reference, and a representative selection of Colombian regional music were included, in a day that was a vibrant encounter between tradition, avant-garde, and young talent.
