Resumen
The methodology that is sought to be implemented consists of a diagnosis and evaluation of sustainability through indicators involving the theory of complex systems in the process. This, with the aim of discussing in depth the critical points in terms of sustainability about the cattle systems, which are used by some of the associations of small dairy producers (APPL) of the municipality. It also seeks to establish the strategic guidelines for transition towards a more sustainable system; under a governance vision in which the key actors involved contribute their visions to an instrument that determines the roadmap to follow in future. With the above, it is expected to achieve empowerment and the promotion of self-management practices that contribute to territorial integration as socio-ecosystem units (Acevedo-Osorio and Angarita-Leiton, 2013; Álvarez-Sánchez et al., 2018), in the communities of small producers in the municipality of Ubaté. Similarly, it is expected to generate in the long term a change in the dairy farming model, towards alternatives such as agroecological practices of silvopastoral systems (Escobar et al., 2020). This research is organized by five chapters that correspond to (1) theoretical framework, and (2) materials and methods; while (3), (4) and (5), refer to the results, discussion and conclusions of each of the three specific objectives that correspond to this thesis work and that are mentioned later. Finally, we present final considerations, some recommendations for future work and the relevant annexes.
