dc.description.abstractThis research work intends to develop motivation to improve English language learning. Its teaching proposal is presented to obtain learner s engagement and improvement toward oral communication, which covers essential student s communication needs. This research was carried out at Colegio Ignacio Gil Sanabria with the collaboration of twenty students, who became the subjects of the research. They were involved in a learning experience in which role-playing simulation activities were used to generate an adequate environment that allowed students to improve their language learning and motivation as well. Throughout this project, the researcher was able to identify student s basic problems such as difficulty to express themselves in English Foreign language, and low motivation. Taking into account these problems, the researcher assumed that providing comfortable conditions such as appropriate and stress free environment and a great deal of playful activities specifically related with role-playing simulation, it is possible to engage the The teaching model is developed through a set of playful simulation activities allowing the students to engage them in the development of their own work. This model facilitates exchanges, assuming new attitudes, by believing in their capabilities students in a pleasant and challenging interpersonal exchanges in that foreign language. It will be also intended to promote the student s improvement by their participatory attitude and performance in their foreign language. This research presents a qualitative analysis of language performance taking into account the student s motivation to interact among them. The development of this research shows that it obtained the expected result: student s learning and engagement with languages activities.spa
