Abstract

This thesis reports on the internship experience at the Fundación Arte y Cultura Cristiana de Colombia (FACCC), where two specific roles were undertaken: drum teacher at the Artes 5 academy and drummer for the Eres Más program at the Conectados con Dios church. The internship combined musical teaching and instrumental performance, aimed at gathering tools to facilitate the initiation, foundation, and development in drumming for children and young people. This experience demonstrates that art and music pedagogy focused on the individual not only strengthen technical skills but also promote personal and social development. Additionally, as a drummer and leader of the musical group at the Conectados con Dios church, support was provided in the production of audiovisual media, aiding the growth of a local congregation in the city of Bogotá.
