Vestigios. Un cortometraje experimental entre el cine y el teatro

Abstract

This document has been made from the search for qualitative tools focused on the use of technical instruments from theater and cinematic arts within the exploration of experimental cinema through fiction, all this is aimed to get in the issue of forced disappearances in Colombia, using the short film's format as the starting point. Its script is provided in Appendix 1, while the short film itself is outlined in Appendix 4. In the film are explored themes such as social conflict inside urbanity and the contradictory duality between certain social actors and their roles within that specific context. The qualitative tools employed in this creation aim to serve as the starting point contributing to the comprehension of artistic creation as a communal work medium, envisioned to be in the future a deeper research to identify methodological tools to get in common interest issues in different non-school contexts with a communitary-oriented approach. These topics may or may not be part of the history of the armed conflict in Colombia, looking up for creators to perceive themselves as narrators of their own experiences, allowing them to decide how much to recount and how to do so, seeking to prevent situations such as re-victimization and encourages open dialogue and active listening, ultimately leading to actions that contribute to the social transformation towards peace.
