Abstract

The attraction that generates Bogota, for people in search of better job opportunities, health, education, recreation, etc. It makes the city has a problem of sprawl, and disproportionate, while the lack of planning new settlements, makes the metropolis need to bring public services to each area, as a constitutional right. This leads to the studies and designs of road infrastructure to meet these goals. Lack and the lack of a road design integral, that has designs transit speeds appropriate design, sight distances, convenient pedestrian crossings, generate conflicts on road safety, even taking this public health conflict knowing that deaths caused by poor design or preventive intervention is the fifth leading cause of deaths worldwide. This work is done as an alternative to a standard intersection trumpet depressed at 26 with race 40, using manuals for urban roads, HCM 2000 and 2004 AASTHO This in order to develop a project fulfilling all the parameters applied to urban road standards, carrying out all academic and technical, given current conditions and future situations ensuring concepts.
