Resumen
The use of new technologies such as drones offer easy and modern solutions such as obtaining images for crop monitoring. This strategy aims to use mutliespectral images that allow the precise identification of both the healthy crops producing in a region as well as the areas that present water stress or the appearance of pests; In the present work, a total of 635 images were used with a spatial resolution of 5.29 cm / pix, which allowed us to clearly identify the areas that are healthy and some parts with water stress and infrastructure areas and some bodies of water. The photogrammetric flight was not carried out but the images were obtained for academic use. The study area corresponds to the municipality of the banana zone, department of Magdalena. The results obtained, apart from identifying the areas with healthy cultivation, the use of technological tools such as an efficient alternative for monitoring and tracking crops The study presented presents the methodology of the use of digital images in agriculture to determine various vegetation indices such as: the normalized difference vegetation index (NDVI), the green normalized difference vegetation (GNDVI), the normalized differential water index (NDWI) and finally the soil adjusted vegetation index (SAVI), showing in general the health status of the plant and the area where it is found and the condition of the other covers that make up a crop plantation, with The objective of obtaining detailed geospatial information that allows the observation and measurement of crops, in order to determine the yield of said plantation.
