Había una vez... una casa

Abstract

Once upon a time ... a house, a fairy tale house, in the middle of a beautiful garden with large windows, a house that one night was invaded and looted, that protected those who lived there and that in a matter of minutes was violated and broken, stagnating it, for me, in the knot of this fairy tale. How to reconcile with this object called home? How do you restore your sense of safe place? How to recover it symbolically?"Once upon a time ... a house" tells how I move into my own house in the attic, in an effort to answer these questions, to feel safe there, to have a inaccessible and almost invisible place to any enemy, a place only for me, to be calm, in the heights, far from the shadows of the past, to inhabit from scratch and become aware of it. With this project I seek to give life to a space that was dead, to make a home where there was no notion of it.
