Resumen
The public-private alliance IPPP made up of the German Cooperation Agency GIZ, the National Association of Colombian businessmen ANDI, Equirent, a leading rental company, and the Colombian Association of Recyclers GAIAREC, seeks to implement a sustainable model of replacing VTHs with Traction Vehicles Assisted (VTAS), to strengthen the work of professional recyclers with a tool worthy of work, optimize the collection of usable waste, increase utilization rates and promote the change in citizen culture towards the country's circular economy with the professional recyclers as the main actor in the recycling supply chain, with better provision of the utilization service by professional recyclers, we are moving towards cultural changes, making citizens aware of their obligations as users of the service. The creation of this Alliance is based on understanding that the recycling population faces great challenges in the transportation and logistics of taking recyclable material from its collection point to the ECA's, which is why having an assisted tool means increasing the coverage of recycling routes. collection and a significant increase in the country's utilization rates. In this way, the main objective is to operationalize the model of access to VTAS by recyclers by involving various key actors from the public and private sectors to make the model sustainable and financially viable. Likewise, the durability and optimal useful life of the VTAS must be guaranteed with the commitment of the Occupational Recyclers Organizations (ORO).
