Resumen
The present degree thesis developed a methodology to create a monologue simultaneously from written practice to acting practice based on the life of singer Elvis Presley. For this, a preliminary investigation was made choosing two biographies that were : the last train to Memphis and Elvis the destruction of man, Loves that kill by the author Peter Guralnick. Having chosen the biographical sources, an exhibition of what he had in common with the character was made, then a line of events was developed, from this ten of them were selected that allowed to create the dramatic structure of the events that he would use to address the dramaturgy , three objects that were of great relevance in the singer's life were chosen, then a beginning was established - a climax - an end, then when addressing the ten events, three phases were taken as a basis: questions, improvisation and recollection. The aforementioned was part of the elaboration for the written dramaturgy and the result that was the monologue. In the acting stage practice, since the monologue writing process was simultaneous, the staging and acting dramaturgy were investigated, all contributing to the final result, which was the dramatic text.
