Resumen
The research proposes a comparative analysis between Colombian national regulations (regulations such as Resolution 1409 of 2012, Decree 1072 of 2015 and Resolution 2400 of 197) and international regulations (Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and Eurocode 7) to identify existing gaps and enrich the knowledge in occupational safety in Colombia. Based on this analysis, specific instructions will be developed for the implementation of shoring in excavations, in order to provide clear and applicable guidelines in construction, adapted to the needs of the country. The research seeks to contribute to occupational safety, strengthen the culture of prevention and contribute to the welfare of workers, integrating international best practices with local conditions.
