The picture contains a note about: If there were less foreign spirit among us, we would have the good taste and the benevolent idea of supporting the good wishes of the national drama company, to the point of achieving its complete improvement; but here it is believed (or we believe) that we are unsuitable for certain things and do not encourage any well-intentioned effort in the beautiful field of art. La imagen contiene una noticia acerca de: Si entre nosostros hubiera menos espíritu de extranjerismo, tendríamos el buen gusto y la benévola idea de apoyar los buenos deseos de la compañía dramática nacional, hasta lograr su mejoramiento completo; pero aquí se cree (ó creemos) que no servimos para ciertas cosas y no estimulamos ningun esfuerzo bien intencionado en el hermoso campo del arte.
