Resumen
The present work had for object structure and organize the forest information of the department of Cordoba from the consolidation of the Forest Information system, SIF, of the Corporación Autonoma Regional de los Valles del Sinu y del San Jorge (CVS) in his jurisdiction, as strategy for the characterization of the forest resource and the materialization of the indicators of Management and the Capture of Decisions. To give fulfillment to this intention I raise a qualitative methodology - quantitative with a descriptive design, by means of the identification of the sources of information and the sites of collection of the physical processes of forest utilization and confiscations of wood 2012-2015, to structure and to materialize the databases of forest utilization and confiscations of wood of the year 2012 - 2015, for the construction of the Forest Information system of the Department of Cordoba, to analyze the information captured in the databases of 2012-2015 and to extract the indicators of management that allows the capture of decisions and To qualify and to train the civil servants in charge of the thematic axes as complementary action for the organization and structure of the information system in jurisdiction of the CVS. The principal obtained results are the consolidation of the information of forest confiscations and forest utilization in the period of 2012-2015. Of equal form he is on having analyzed the information that in forest confiscations the principal reason of confiscation is not to carry the only national safe conduct with 80 %, of equal way the municipality of origin with 41,41 % is Tierralta and the principal seized species there meets 12,16 % Amargo (Vatairea sp.), with 9,45 % the Brasilete (Peltogyne purpurea Pittier). In turn Choiba (Dipteryx oleifera Benth), Zapato (Myroxylon balsamum (L.) Harms), Roble (Tabebuia rosea (Bertol.) Bertero ex-A.DC) 8,10 % and 6,75 % meets the Cedro (Cedrela odorata L.); the seized volume ranges between 350 and 450 m3. As for the topic of forest utilization the principal requested activity is of type tree isolated in property deprived principally; the granted volume ranges between the 1500 and 4000 m3.
