Resumen
At the epicenter of the geospatial revolution, the digital transformation of LiDAR data is an important process to unlock the full potential of laser scanning technology in three-dimensional data collection. In this context, the objective of this work is the design of a methodological guide oriented to effectively coordinate the transformation of LiDAR data via the Municipality of Facatativá. The approach focuses on taking full advantage of the capabilities of the specialized software ORBIT 3DM, ArcGIS and Civil 3D. The delineated process ranges from the initial refinement of the point cloud to the creation of CAD files. In this path, crucial steps such as the vectorization of identifiable elements, the establishment of topological relationships and the creation of databases are highlighted. This work not only seeks to formulate a methodological guide, but also to lay the foundations for a coherent and efficient digital transformation of LiDAR data by improving the quality and use of the data in various practical applications.
