Formulación de un plan integral de residuos solidos y peligrosos para la Compañía Talleres del Norte Sede Ricaurte

Abstract

This work contains the formulation of a comprehensive management plan for hazardous and non-hazardous waste for the company “Almacén y Talleres el Norte – Ricaurte”, which is a specialized mechanical center belonging to the network of Chevrolet workshops in the city of Bogotá D.C. The lack of a proper process regarding the management of its residuality, motivated the realization of this work in order to provide the company with a tool to minimize the environmental impacts associated with the development of its activities. A case study and prospective methodology was used, dividing it into three phases. These consisted basically, firstly, in the collection of information using tools such as: field visits, interviews, photographic records and documentation analysis. Based on this, the second phase was started, which was based on giving a diagnosis on the current situation of this company's headquarters, as well as characterizing the waste generated, based on eco maps, matrix of environmental aspects and impact, and standards normative and finally the management measures that constitute the integral management plan for hazardous and nonhazardous waste were determined.
