Estudio de Pre-Factibilidad para Readecuación de Punto Digital Caso Pasquilla

Abstract

It was found that in the rural area of ​​Pasquilla, a locality of Ciudad Bolivar, a digital point was implemented, which is currently closed and without functioning. In the district there are only two small computer rooms that are within the Rural School Pasquilla IED, with poor access to the Internet referring to navigation, a service that is covered by the Ministry of Education. There is currently a digital divide in the population, which is characterized by belonging to the population where their income is low. In this way, it is possible to carry out the pre-feasibility study for the readjustment of the digital point located within the population that implies low cost, through Free Software tools. What this means is that the operation of the digital point would not be linked to economic restrictions due to the expiration of commercial software licensing, in addition there is the space that had already functioned as a digital point. Space that will be oriented to satisfy the needs of the different social groups of the population to connect to Internet and educational applications through technological resources.
