Guía metodológica y modelamiento de una turbo glorieta tipo estrella y paso a desnivel en la autopista sur con calle 59 sur, Bogotá D.C

Abstract

This paper presents a methodology for the design of an underpass way and a star turboroundabout (three-leg) using as a case study signalized intersections of the Autopista Sur con con Calle 59 Sur y Calle 63 sur in Bogota city. The modeling of the project was based on topographic maps obtained at the Instituto de Desarrollo Urbano (IDU) and transit traffic counts of the Secretaría Distrital de Movilidad. The methodology for the design was developed by analyzing factors study as the geometry of the roads that emerge or converge on the turboroundabout, the volume of traffic to be carried on for a period of design of 15 years, lane width, signage, the gauge and maximum slopes to be used in the underpass. Finally microsimulation was made by comparing traffic intersections existing and the design proposed.
