Abstract

In the course of time it has led to a large accumulation of different gases emitted by everyday human activities; this creates what is called climate change, which is why, it is necessary to find and implement new ideas for reducing such gases, obtaining a sustainable development of the environment, this will take place with mitigation projects on the possible variables that affect the quality of the environment, with the adaptation and reduction sequence produced after the presentation of projects too b taint community awareness. Taking the University Francisco José de Caldas as one of the public institutions of the city, focusing on high er education in the Capital District, which is why we must raise a number of processes for reducing green house gases in or der to have a adaptation and mitigation on climate change. That is why this research project was generated to pose a master GIRCA mitigation and adaptation to climate change for the District University Francisco Jose de Caldas plan, this was carried out by analyzing the various venues in college to get a result concrete that allows us to establish the calculation of the carbon foot print of each faculty, in order to make proposals aimed at GHG mitigation.
