Resumen
This image contains news about the promulgation of the Law of June 3, 1848, establishing local administration in the different territorial sections defined by the Constitution. This law determines that each section is in charge of specific matters related to municipal administration. It has been clarified that previous laws that centralized administration in the central government or provincial governors have been repealed. A clear explanation is sought on how certain administrative matters should be handled to avoid confusion. For example, primary education is the responsibility of the municipal government, and this law is being implemented in the province. Issues such as worship and the management of parish churches are considered to be the exclusive responsibility of each parish government. News published in the newspaper El constitutional de Cundinamarca, No. 2, February 15, 1851.
