Diseño e Implementación de la primera fase del programa de producción más limpia para el aprovechamiento y adecuado manejo del agua potable en la Empresa Indulatex S.A

Abstract

The design and implementation of the first phase of cleaner production for the use and proper handling of drinking water sought to create a productive transformation within the company Indulatex SA, belonging to the industrial sector of the municipality of Mosquera, which is dedicated to manufacturing and marketing of cleaning products and latex gloves. In order to improve their environmental performance and economic empowerment as an added value to business competitiveness. To be part of a comprehensive solution, which allowed reducing the consumption of drinking water in industrial processes in the municipality, vital to supply the nearby villages to the production plants of the company water. How it was made? a descriptive study was conducted, from a methodological design, in which a diagnosis in different manufacturing processes, phase allowed to determine the situation of the company regarding drinking water, work continued with a phase was generated execution in which the cleaner production strategy selected applicable, given that low investments have effective results allow to obtain management approval to continue the project needed; to select the strategy implementation is done and passed a final evaluation phase, where the results are determined and compared with the initial overview of the company to calculate the environmental and economic benefits obtained .. The strategy implemented allowed processes reduce the consumption of drinking water, ie, on the ground glove stopped consuming 19018.8 m³ / year and plan toilet stopped consuming 624 cubic meters / year, so the risks of shortage of supplies for the population were minimized municipality of Mosquera, allowing you to use the drinking water consumed stopped the company to supply the sidewalks surrounding the company and maintain quality of life. Therefore the efficient use of drinking water in the company INDULATEX S.A, due to the decrease in consumption, with a total savings in the two plants 19.642.8 m³ / year, thanks to the diagnosis and the intervention was achieved. It is important to mention that this project made the recognition of the company CAR entity was achieved by being a proactive company in the framework of implementation of environmental projects.
