Representaciones Sociales de Maltrato Infantil de Miembros de los Equipos Psicosociales que Pertenecen al ICBF

Abstract

This research aims to investigate the social representations that the Child Psychosocial Teams Professionals that belong to the Family Defenders assigned to the Facatativá Zonal Center of the Colombian Family Welfare Institute - ICBF have built on Child Abuse, with the purpose of establishing the knowledge they have professionals on childhood and the current understanding of the problems that afflict them, including child abuse that has been marking the dynamics of Colombian families for a long time. With this objective, the social representations of the professionals working in this zonal center were investigated, with the use of a qualitative approach and techniques such as the incomplete phrases questionnaire, the interview and the associative letter, which allowed establishing the information they handle professionals about child abuse and situations that have marked their trajectory and their conceptions about children and their families.
