Resumen
The present study aims to provide a solution to the problematic of rural housing deficit, irrational use of natural resources and environmental deterioration, through the design and evaluation of a dwelling designed for the housing needs of an average coffe family, in which are interrelated the cultural traditions of these families with the bioclimatic architecture, use of materials and local labor and implementation of environmentally appropriate technologies, to achieve a type of housing that increases the quality of life of people without generating a negative impact on the environment, in addition in this study will be made a comparison between this house, a conventional and a prefabricated in order to obtain the social acceptability (based on the concept of different people involved in the sustainable construction environment), environmental sustainability (from the carbon footprint, bio architecture criteria and the environmental impact generated), technical feasibility (depending on the functionality of the design and the ease of construction and maintenance) and financial viability (based on the construction cost per square meter)
