Resumen
The IGAC, as geographic and cadastral authority at the national level, takes the commitment to be present in the management of land policy and to follow up on this work delegates to the GIT of land control and field classification, based on its function of directing and executing the field surveys for projects related to photocontrol, border demarcation, georeferencing and topography, in accordance with the cartography production plans and the requests of internal and external users, this management reveals a large volume of information, that requires proper registration because of the importance it represents in the management of information and in the traceability of requests at the institutional level. In response to the need for storage, custody and information provision to be able to track the requests made, this project proposes the design of a Geodatabase that serves as a tool to spatialize the products delivered, to favor decision-making and actions pertinent in the operation of the GIT. The design of the database started from the relational paradigm, starting with the collection of requirements through the use case technique, to then be abstracted those requirements in the conceptual and logical design using the unified language of modeling in the elaboration of relationship entity and relational logic models to finally materialize the Geodatabase in a physical model implemented in the ArcGIS software.
