Decreto N°165 Concesiones a Sociedades Cientificas

Abstract

The image contains news about Decree Number 165 of 1881. The decree provides the rectoral room of the School of Natural Sciences and Medicine for meetings of the "Society of Medicine", and ensures the printing of its monthly newspaper with public funds . In addition, a room will be set up in a national building for the "Society of Statistics and Geography of Colombia" and the "corresponding Colombian Academy of the Royal Spanish Academy of Language", allowing its alternative use for meetings and offices. Likewise, the Society of Geography and Statistics is established as an advisory body to the Government on matters of national boundaries, administration of territories, and other issues related to the geography and statistics of Colombia.
