Abstract

Definition of local topographic maps for a study case, polygonal “El Triunfo” property Sopó-Cundinamarca, applying the Agustin Codazzi methodology for the system of flat Cartesian co-ordinates local origin. In the present work a polygonal was developed in the property the Victory located in the rural area of the municipality of Sopó - Cundinamarca, from a series of already materialized and positioned topographic plates. The target concentrates in developing LOCAL TOPOGRAPHIC maps (LTM'S) dividing of the obtained information of the polygonal and of such form to contribute a serie of evidences of how significant they turn out to be above mentioned (LTM'S) to improve the quality of the information as for the biunivocal area - map relation and this way to contribute to the development of the research project “Development Of A New Cartographic System Of Projection Faced To The Work with big scales In Infrastructure Projects of Colombian engineering, From The Definition And Making Of Local Topographic maps(LTM)” From the center of investigations of the district University Francisco José de Caldas. There appears then the definition and implementation of these LTM'S that are of big importance considering that the growth in infrastructure in Colombia becomes progressive, they have a value in any aspect that affects the population and the due considerations are not born in mind in the above mentioned engineering projects, such like the necessary attention in high differences of height and the big distances that are grounds of big part of the opposing inconsistencies.
